What are the anticipated benefits of your carbon neutral certification?
Advocate for sustainable projects having cleaned up our own backyard.
Increased efficiencies will lead to savings that are only now visible because of the audit.
What offset projects do you support?
A wind farm project in Turkey and a wind project in China stapled with Australian vegetation offsets.
Why did you choose these projects?
We choose these options on basis of consultant advice which balanced cost and maximum benefit. We also targeted Australian offsets to ensure all staff can observe the outcomes of the offsets.
How can the community support you?
New work that embraces a net zero outcome.
What else are you doing to reduce emissions?
We have a sustainability policy which outlines the practice’s commitment and goals to reducing emissions. We lobby clients to remove gas from all new projects. We applaud and seek out clients who go beyond business as usual approaches. We surround ourselves with best in breed consultants who chase the same goals.
What has been the impact of your action?
We have reduced 769 tonnes of C02e/yr.
