Type of certification

Organisation and service

How long have you been certified carbon neutral?

Since October 2020.

Why are you carbon neutral?

Achieving carbon neutrality has been a priority for the firm.  We have paid close attention to our environmental footprint and will continue to work to reduce our emissions as much as possible across many areas of our business.

What are the anticipated benefits of your carbon neutral certification?

Certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to global climate action, which is also supported through our Environmental Policy and Ethical Sourcing Policy - both of which are firmly integrated into our business operations and practices. For example, we have ensured all our Australian offices are energy rated 5-star or above by the National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) and the Green Building Council of Australia and report on our sustainability performance to the United Nations Global Compact and Australian Legal Sector Alliance.

Working with our registered consultant, we are now analysing many areas of our business to find opportunities to further reduce our carbon footprint.

What offset projects do you support?

A cookstoves project in Rwanda and a wind power project in India.

How can the community support you?

We value organisations that share our vision for a better global climate. The more Australian companies that join Climate Active and drive the goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the better for Australia and the rest of the world.

What else are you doing to reduce emissions?

We have formed working groups that are currently developing strategies to reduce our carbon emissions from base year data in many areas of our business.
